Do Reserve Officers have to fulfill court appearances?

Yes. As a sworn police officer in the District of Columbia, you are required to comply with all mandatory court appearances (i.e., papering, preliminary hearings, and trials). Each applicant should consider their full time employment while deciding whether the Reserve Corps opportunity is right for them to pursue.
